I have a ford focus, it’s an EV and I compared high auto insurance rates that are applied for gas and electric versions of the same cars and I found that car insurance for electric vehicles costs more in all cases, I don’t understand why, is it the battery or I think these cars’ higher values and repair costs are to blame.

Does anyone have any personal recommendations, perhaps specialist companies who deal only with electric cars. I have tried using a price comparison site but I was confused every time I go there.
